Bill is a master tailor from the old guard of Holy Stitch! — the kind of maker who learned the work before anyone was calling it craft. He brought fabric from Japan. Others came from places that don't need to be named to be understood. Every panel in this pair traveled before it was cut. That travel is in the construction now. You can't remove it.

DISPATCH
Patchwork is not a technique here. It's a position. The idea that the world's materials can share a seam — that what came from different hands, different cultures, different latitudes can be joined and hold — that's not a design decision. That's a statement about what's possible when someone knows how to sew. Waist 36. Room for whoever this belongs to.
