2 · The fork — no rack pair fits

1. Say it while they're still in the jean. Not after they've changed. The garment on the body is the whole sale.
2. "We build it off this pair — same shape, adjusted to you. Four days."
3. "It's        , $250 deposit online today, balance at pickup."
4. Open the order ticket now, at the counter, in front of them.

3 · Working the ticket, in order

1. Measure the pair they have on. As-is column first, then the changes.
2. "Where's it supposed to sit?" fit notes
3. Fabric. Show the board. Name the standard and the premium, and why.
4. Thread, hardware finish, contrast. Off the board.
5. Back patch. "Write it exactly how you want it." have them write it, then read it back
6. Take the $250. Shopify, before they leave the counter.
7. Photo of the ticket. Photo of them in the fit pair.
8. Print both sheets. Production copy goes with the fabric. Pattern envelope gets the order number.

4 · If they won't commit today

1. Fill the ticket anyway — name, phone, pair tried, what didn't fit.
2. "I'll hold these numbers. Four days from the deposit whenever you're ready."
3. Ticket goes in the follow-up stack, not the trash.

5 · Never

1. Never let a failed try-on end without the line in section 2.
2. Never quote a price that isn't on the fabric tier sheet.
3. Never send a garment to the floor without a completed production ticket.
