An off-white vintage Levi's jean, waist 31, reworked with embroidery, single needle stitching, and darning repairs at 1059 Market Street, San Francisco. One of one.

CONTEXT
I have a love-hate relationship with Levi's and Virgil, and both are personal in real life, with reason behind it. Regardless, this pair came across my path and I fixed it up a little bit and just put my name on it — because if you had such reverence and disappointment from these two, then it would make sense to you. Your idols become your rivals.

COMPOSITION
Original Levi's construction stays intact beneath the off-white wash — factory seams untouched, original buttons and rivets still in place. Embroidery sits as a detail signature, layered on top, not covering anything up. Single needle stitching runs both structural and decorative seams throughout the rework. Darning repairs are worked on a Singer 47W70, with the stitch left visible rather than hidden inside the fabric. No other pair carries this exact combination of repair and signature.

STORY
Darning is an old school new school repair trade dressed up as design here — the same stitch that used to keep a pair alive another season, done in the open instead of hidden in the fabric. On an off-white base, plus some stories. Sit in it.
